In 1986, Engine Power Source was established as a distributor of Kubota industrial engines, and consistently performed as a sales leader over the years.  In 1992, its present owner, Mr. Ney Couick, purchased the company.  Mr. Couick immediately embarked upon an expansion program by adding Perkins and Nissan industrial engines to their product lines.  Further expansion consisted of installing a complete state-of-the-art automotive machine shop to remanufacture a wide variety of industrial engines to serve the Material Handling, Agricultural, Construction, and Industrial markets.  A complete rebuilding facility for diesel fuel pumps and injectors was added to represent Lucas/CAV (Delphi), Stanadyne, Denso, and Zexcel.  Also, at the same time the Original Equipment Manufacturer sales capabilities were broadened to include engineering and design support for the OEM market.

Today, Engine Power Source is the world’s largest volume distributor of Kubota industrial engines. EPS is also recognized as one of the industry’s leading suppliers of remanufactured industrial engines, new engines, fuel systems, overhaul kits, and service parts.  Engine Power Source now has over 90 employees that manage the numerous tasks required to maintain the company’s position as a leading engine supplier.  In 1999, the company purchased a new facility of over 40,000 square feet to go along with the existing remanufacturing facility of over 30,000 square feet.  This new acquisition, with its advanced high density storage, will help accommodate the company’s continued rapid growth, and provide Engine Power Source with the ability to service and support the needs of their customers for years to come.
