Engine Overhaul Kits

There are many overhaul kit supplies that offer kits at lower prices, but they often fail to fit the application. Usually, the problem does not surface until after the engine is torn down and it’s realized. For example, the front cover gasket does not fit or the front seal is incorrect. Unfortunately, you only get what you pay for....and in a case like this, end-up with experiencing more costly downtime than necessary.

EPS engine overhaul kits, on the other hand, contain the identical components used in the remanufacturing of an engine. Remanufactured Service Parts

Engine Power Source remanufactures each service part precisely to the original engine manufacturer’s specifications. Because of our experience in remanufacturing engine parts, it’s possible to offer remanufactured parts as the best alternative when the price of a new part is cost prohibitive or if the manufacturer has discontinued the part.

Some of the most important standards adhered to by EPS, when remanufacturing engine parts, are:

Proper radius in a re-ground crankshaft
Valve deck height in a remanufactured head
Proper roughness average on an aluminum head
Vacuum test for proper valve sealing on all heads
Complete re-conditioning of both ends of a connecting rod & precisely boring the small end
